O'Connor Fire fund

My name is Scherri O'Connor. On Labor Day, Monday, September 5th, my house caught fire. The photo I posted only shows a portion of the damage. We are fortunate that I was the only one home and was able to get out with only minimal smoke inhalation. My son and his friend were able to get all of our animals out as well. Unfortunately, the house is a total loss and has been condemned. We are living hand to mouth in a hotel, and the Alternative Living part of the insurance is nearly exhausted. Any money collected will be to offset the storage cost for the salvageable furniture left in the home and to find a place to live while we work things out with the insurance people. We have about one and a half weeks before we have to leave, and at that point, we will be on our own.

Please know this is not easy for me to do; I have waited because I hoped and prayed that insurance would help, but my coverage is inadequate and won't be enough to replace the home.
