Oceanside 2021 Thanksgiving Dinner

Members of the Oceanside Interfaith Council’s Thanksgiving Dinner Committee are already working hard to ensure that we are able to continue our 28 year tradition of providing a complete holiday meal to those in need on Thanksgiving Day 2021.

Meals will be delivered upon requested by those who live within the confines of the Oceanside School District.

THESE CONTINUE TO BE UNPRESIDENTED TIMES AND WE DESPERATELY NEED YOUR FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO SUSTAIN OUR EFFORTS!

We are projecting that this year we will feed 1,100 people; a 4% increase over last year. This number includes our usual custom of providing meals to local first responders.

Our 2021 costs are expected to increase by 9.5% due to inflation, labor costs and supply chain issues.

If you are able, we’d appreciate if you would sponsor some meals to help us achieve our mission of providing Thanksgiving dinners to our neighbors in need. For as little as a $20 donation you can defray the cost of one meal.

We are seeking benefactors at the following contribution levels:

Pilgrim sponsor: $ 20

Candied Yam sponsor: $ 50

Stuffing sponsor: $ 100

Mayflower sponsor: $ 500

Turkey sponsor: $ 1,000
