Ocean Bridge: Four Alarm Fire
It's a sad day for my Ocean Bridge family here in Myrtle Beach
Around 11pm last night, building 8 went up into flames and became a stage four alarm fire, the first one in the departments history. We are forever grateful that everyone made it out safe but there are families who live here full time and literally only have the clothes on their back. The only way they could get the fire to finally go out was completely tearing it down after over 7 hours of the building burning.
We are so fortunate to have such a great community in this complex and the surrounding Shore Drive area. Also, a huge thank you to all of the firemen that worked tirelessly for hours to put it out and keep us safe.
There are two families who have been misplaced from the building 8 that have lost everything are full time residents at Ocean Bridge. These families are good friends of mine and I want to do everything I can to help make their situation easier. Here at Ocean Bridge, we really are like a family and when family experiences something so horrific, it is our duty to step up and help. All proceeds a will be given to the two families to help with whatever needs to be replaced and make the process a little easier for them. A check will be written to them in the upcoming week. Thank you for considering to donate.
