My Name is Paul Sergio VanNess Eller. Personally, I prefer to go by & I respond to Sergio. I'm a Game Design Specialist, Game Principle Designer, Creative Content Writer, UX Researcher/Designer, Artist, & Engineer. I have been playing Table Top Role Playing Games for over 17 years creating characters & campaigns for just as long. I have run games as a GM. I have multiple disabilities that makes my life really difficult. ADHD, ASTHMA, AUTISM, MANIC BI-POLAR DEPRESSION, DYSLEXIA, NARCOLEPSY WITH CATAPLEXY, & SLEEP APNEA. These are chronic disabilities. That means they create issues for me all the time & I'm never going to just "get better". They can be manageable at best but never to the point I'll "be normal".
Oblivion Oddities has been in development hell for the last 10 years. I have been designing, redesigning, hitting setbacks, & had multiple setbacks throwing me back to square 1... Yet I haven't given up. Because of this, I have the rules memorized & am currently getting everything I have for it out of my head & in your hands.
I saw what has been coming towards the TTRPG communities over 10 years ago & began working on the situation then by studying game design, watching the community, endless play testing, & so much more.
We need entertainment companies that can be trusted. For over 17 years WotC has proven that they can't be trusted. Since they can’t be trusted they need to be replaced. That’s why Oblivion Oddities' main campaign setting is high fantasy. Its genre is Dungeon Punk. This game will not just be a direct competitor of D&D & Pathfinder, but a replacement for them. This game was made with players like US in mind. WotC isn't ever going to really understand what players & creators want or need.
This game IS worth it. This is just the start for US. This won't be the end. I plan on being the best game designer in the world. Nothing will stop me from achieving my dream!

The VTTRPG:
We want to create a Digital TTRPG Version of the game as well. Everything in the base rule books will be converted into a small isolated server for single/multiple players & an MMOTTRPG that would allow people to play on a massive platform with each other.
It might sound weird having all of the content in the Base VTTRPG. There's a purpose for this. Because while you'll have to pay for the based game, extra content will be released through our company. Please stick with me. If it's a new class, lineage, or anything base you'll get it for free. There's going to be a bunch of open-world servers. You'll have to pay for the stories &/or unique characters separately.
This is the most important part of the VTTRPG. Indie creators will be able to make campaigns, quests, stories, & characters that you can buy directly from them. We're going to take 5% royalties after you make a yet-to-be-determined amount. There are going to be minimum ‐ Maximum caps for prices based on the facts that are determined by the content itself. Also, yet to be determined. But as an example: you won't be paying $60 for a single quest or level 1 characters. You won't be paying $400-$800 for a single campaign.
That's all I can really say about that for right now besides the fact you'll also be getting A.I. GMs & Players. Your officially registered characters can play in any game session as long as the GM either sends an invite or accepts a request. Either way no matter what you'll get the information needed to decide what you're going to do. Plus you'll be able to play through your phone anywhere at any time.
LARPing & Augmented Reality:
That's just the core rule systems for Oblivion Oddities. Oblivion Oddities Project Studios plans on taking this further, it's going to have a LARPing System.
I'm not just building a TTRPG; I'm crafting something that will outlive me. When technology gets to a point where it can safely mix nanotechnology, Augmented Reality, & NeuroLink technology, Oblivion Oddities will already be ready to convert over to the ultimate gaming experience.
Oblivion Oddities has an ARG that's about to release in the format of Pop-up Dungeons!
Player Rules
- If you die, you're out of the ARG as long as you don't have a "Newcomer Adventurers Pack" You only get 1 life.
- Players must have character sheets.
- If you're out of the ARG you're not eligible for the prizes.
- Every time someone solves a major clue, they'll be rewarded with a prize.
- You have to be at least a level 1 Newcomer Adventurer (the $1 tier Patreon) to receive your prize.
- My pop up Dungeons are post you can respond to in real time! You have until the time I post & the time I make an announcement that the Dungeons is closed! (Typically 2-3 days, 5 if I see it looks like people are making progress.)
- You have to post your Clue/answer on our Patreon account in order for it to count!
- If you comment on a post you're in the Pop up Dungeon.
- The goal is to advance through the pop up Dungeons to the end by finding clues & Role-Playing!
- You have to find 5 minor clues & 1 major clue pre Dungeon.
- Pop up Dungeons work more like multi leveled escape rooms.
Rules for Party's/Guilds
- People who have decided to work together have a bigger advantage & have to share prizes in game & out of game.
- Guilds have to be created outside of pop up Dungeons.
- Party's can be created within a Dungeon.
Rule for Prizes
- Prizes are only for people who figure out major clues during the events.
- Prizes for major clues can be in game or out of game rewards they can't get elsewhere.
- Prizes can even be clues related to the next part of the Dungeon!

Story Details:
Most of the settings take place on the main planet named Oblivion. Oblivion is locked in place next to 2 suns by massively high levels of multiple magical sources. This planet is the size of Jupiter. It's not a small planet in the slightest. Because of its size, what can happen on Oblivion is anything & everything. Oblivion gets its name as a reminder of what will happen if someone tries to remove the spells keeping the planet from being ripped apart between 2 Suns that are equal in size & mass. If unlocked, it will look like something going through an industrial shredder- but on fire. This lock also locks the suns in place.
This high fantasy setting actually takes place after the 18+ Fictional book series of the same title. The world has changed, times have progressed, and adventures abound in this new era. The magical economy of the world has started to industrialize. A company called Oblivion Oddities has formed, creating and selling magical adventuring items at an affordable rate. They are currently the first & only global company.
There are other companies, but none have done as well as Oblivion Oddities. Items once considered rare have flooded the market, reducing their values. Now items like bags capable of holding heavy loads while always feeling light are common. We are at the first stages of Magic, Technology, & Capitalism becoming one.
It's currently been only 3,000 years since the events of the last book in the series. Meanwhile, it's taken Oblivion Oddities all that time to become a global company. There are still places in the world where magic has never touched; only 1% of the surface of the planet has been explored & mapped. This 1% is strictly the trade routes throughout this massive planet, with major cities being the bulk of where people live along the trade routes. Oblivion Oddities has a new goal for adventurers, discovering what's out there!
Adventurers must record & log their adventures before returning to the closest Oblivion Oddities' "Demands, Oddities, Goods, Market, & Antiquities©️" shops to trade their discoveries for coin. This shop is also a bank for those who are registered with them. In recent years, adventurers have started to be referred to as DungeonPunks by locals. This is because their attitudes & resourcefulness create a highly competitive culture of adventuring, leading to Adventurers creating guilds, gangs, communities, & Loco Solos.
Campaign Settings:
That's the basic High Fantasy setting. But WAIT! There's more, you can play Oblivion Oddities in any campaign setting, genre, or era. Any fantasy that you have, you should be able to fulfill. There shouldn't be anything you can't make in Oblivion Oddities. Everyone has been seen in our eyes & heard. That's why I'm going to include everyone in this Universal D30 TTRPG system DungeonPunk RPG.
- Fast forward a mere 30,000 you're in the magical wild west.
- Fast forward 60,000 years into the future & you'll get what's considered "Modern day (late 1980's - 2025)" in terms of lifestyles & the basic level of technology.
- Fast forward 120,000 years in the future & you'll have a High Fantasy Magical Cyberpunk genre.
- Fast forward 300,000 years into the future & you'll have earlier spaceships & space Colonization more along the lines of the Star Wars prequels, a Western space fantasy setting.
- Fast forward 600,000 years into the future you'll be in something closer to what Mass Effects looks & feels like.
Each one will have its own unique stories, characters, & vibes while the rule set doesn't change between them. Additionally, the core books for these settings will also be free for the Digital & LARPing versions.
