OUR FIRST PLAY PERFORMS IN PUERTO RICO

Obligation You Are, is a site specific piece created by "Las Pibas, theatre company" ( Julia Cavagna and Pato Masera ) we have been working on this since January 2018. It began wirh Maya Jackson and her apartment and for that and more, we are forever grateful. It started with the desire to create, to look deep into our needs as creators and to tell an honest story.
OYA as we like to call it, has had two earlier versions of our work in progress, where we were able to show our process and the piece to a wonderful group of people. During those two sessions, we gathered feedback and took it all in for a final round of work.
We are now lucky to be able to present this third version in San Juan, Puerto Rico at the end of January (11-13) at El Bastion. For this opportunity, we are inviting a Puerto Rican actress to share the experience with us, Zahyde Pietri Ramirez.
Your collaboration will help Las Pibas and OYA expand its wings and share this intimate project with Puerto Rico.
The biggest hurdle for us right now are Airfare, Accomodations and the Transport of Scenery.
We know the challenge is daunting, we also know that there is very little time, but for us it is imperative that we try to make this dream a reality.
We cannot do this alone, and we have had suppport from our friends and family to get to where we are now but to be able to go where we need to, we are asking once more for your support in this quest.
Any amount is helpfull, no donations is small, and all help is welcomed!
