Our beloved Obi is not well due to a terrible accident that has left him in a vegetative state with significant brain damage. He drowned in a pool and was resuscitated after being underwater for 20 to 30 minutes.

Obi was preparing to enter his second year of college at Willam Paterson University and had made the Dean's List. He aspired to be a music teacher and IT specialist. His favorite instrument is the viola, and his goal was to write music for an orchestra, dreaming of performing at Carnegie Hall.

His devastated mother (Chi Rogers) is unable to cover all of his medical bills and the costs of home care. Doctors have stated that Obi needs total care, meaning he is unable to do anything for himself and will remain in this condition.

If you can, we encourage you to donate anything to assist Obi and his family in their time of need. It is also important to note that Obi’s home is not wheelchair accessible, so home improvements will need to be made or a new home found.

Obi is 19 years old and the oldest of his four siblings. We are praying for a miracle. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
