Our sweet rescue boy, Obi is needing TPLO surgery!

Obi is the best foster brother there ever was! Being our first rescue, foster, and golden child, he has made us fall in love with rescuing doodles. After fostering and adopting Obi in 2022, Obi has been such a huge asset in rehabilitating dogs of all temperaments. From “aggressive” dogs to the traumatized, fearful of human types, Obi has been patient and shown his foster siblings how to be a “normal” dog.

There is nothing Obi loves more than to run and play with his siblings and foster siblings, but this past weekend, his playing got the best of him and he tore his CCL, resulting in him needing TPLO surgery.

We are so fortunate to have an ortho surgeon in the area that is able to get Obi in asap to not further any injury or endure any more pain.

The initial vet visit to identify what he was going to need was $700, and the estimate we received for the surgery is $3,400. We appreciate all the support we can get on this journey to get Obi healthy again so he can continue to be the best foster brother!
