Hi, I'm Obi and I'm six and a half years old. I'm halfway through two and a half years of chemotherapy for Leukaemia.
We've documented Obi’s journey in two videos — one from when she was first diagnosed, and a follow-up just released - all home made by Obi and her Mum Katie. Obi's videos resonated strongly with everyone who saw them so we've now decided to make her videos public, to help other families facing childhood cancer.
Obi's diagnosis video in 2024 won the Griffith University Science Award and was quietly shared through her hospital network and amongst family and friends through a private link - gathering over 600 views! You can watch it here

To celebrate the end of Obi's treatment next June, we're planning the trip of a lifetime: a five-week adventure through Europe and Japan. Castles, culture, Disneyland, flying squirrels (yes, really!) — everything she’s missed out on while getting through a tough few years.
We’re hoping to raise funds to help cover the costs of our trip — including flights, accommodation, Disneyland tickets, and experiences to help her reclaim the magic of childhood she has lost during this unimaginable time.
