Tiny Clinic on Wheels


Construction students at Western Maricopa Education Center (West-MEC) partnered with local physician Dr. Jeannine Hinds to build a mobile clinic that provides free medical services to the homeless, uninsured, and underinsured including service to our veterans and at risk youth in the community.

A fan of the tiny house movement — where people live in mobile homes under 500 square fee — Hinds had a vision of building a clinic fashioned after these tiny homes, and bringing it to local parks where she would provide free healthcare to homeless individuals, along with opportunities to receive spiritual counsel and mental and emotional supportive services with a touch of human kindness to any and all who desire to participate.
