Oas Family Flood Relief

Severe Midwest flooding reached historical levels in Nebraska and Iowa - March 15, 2019 our family home was affected by this disaster. The mandatory evacuation notice was sound at 10am and within hours the water began to flood our home at a rapid rate.  We have not been able to assess the full amount of damage, but by the photos released from the local Sheriff's office, all of our 1st floor and basement were underwater. The road to recovery is a long journey.

Update (3/29/19): The waters have finally receded from our home, thanks to many of our friend and family, we were able to remove what was left of our belongings and are salvaging what we can. There is still so much ahead, work efforts to determine if we can rebuild are starting. So much loss and destruction caused by flood waters, so many affected... FEMA, Red Cross and so many community leaders, churches and shelters have rallied together to help and to see such good come from such a disaster is still awe inspiring.
