You’ve seen it on countless medical shows - a patient is receiving CPR when someone grabs the paddles and yells “CLEAR!” The patient is shocked and, ideally, their heart returns to sinus (normal) rhythm.

Automated Emergency Defibrillators (AEDs) are amazing devices that determine if a patient needs a shock and apply it automatically. They’re designed for use in public environments by untrained people. Once you start noticing AEDs you’ll be amazed by how many you see in public spaces, stores, airports, arenas, etc.

We’re fundraising to place a community AED at Rocky’s Market. The total cost for a commercial-grade unit and needed accessories is roughly $1,800.
