Oaklynn's Voice - Rett Syndrome
Donation protected

She instructs various school districts on successful education of children with Rett Syndrome and those on the Autism Spectrum and has presented workshops worldwide. Susan is known for her broad knowledge base as well as practical and creative ideas for furthering the learning of those with the most significant challenges.

Susan will be able to help us learn the best way to communicate with Oaklynn. She will help us program her Tobii (eye gaze device) and spend time helping Oaklynn learn how to communicate with us and use her Tobii. She will also be spending a day with Oaklynn's teachers, therapists and aides (at home and at school). She will educate them on how to teach a Rett girl properly. How to test them and help them understand communicating with Oaklynn.
We are beyond excited that we were able to get a spot in her busy schedule. We plan to have her come in November for 2 days. The total cost is $5,000. We can not make this happen on our own and are looking for help from those that are willing to help us get her here.
Oaklynn is a smart girl. She can even be taught to read! We just need someone to come in and show us how to go about teaching her correctly. Please help us if you can.
