We are a Running Club at Oakley Elementary School in Santa Maria, CA. There are 11 amazing students that participate each week, plus some wonderful teachers that volunteer to help during special events or outings. We run around the block several times for a total of 3-3.5 miles each practice or go run in the community. The students train for local 5k events.  2018-19will be our 4th year together. 

The students are so motivated and enthusiastic about running! When I asked them what I should tell sponsors they said they "love running!", "they are getting stronger and faster" and "want to run as many races as possible!"
