Oakland Youth Wrestling: A Legacy of Growth

Wan Tu Wazuri Wrestling Club, a non-profit organization based in Oakland, California, is committed to promoting the sport of wrestling among young people in our community. Our club, which has been around since 1965, provides a safe and positive environment for young wrestlers to develop their skills, grow as individuals, and gain the self-confidence that will benefit them throughout their lives.

As you may be aware, youth in Oakland face unique challenges that require support and guidance. Our club recognizes the potential of wrestling to help address these challenges by developing within our youth self-confidence and self-respect, discipline, teamwork, and a sense of community.

As an all-volunteer non-profit organization, we rely heavily on the generosity of donors like you to support our programs and services. Your donation will allow us to continue to provide high-quality wrestling training, equipment, and travel expenses, as well as opportunities for our young wrestlers to participate in tournaments, clinics, and other events that will help them develop.
