Disturbed by events that were brought to light in 2020, we asked, what can we do to make a difference?

We both joined  lacrosse teams when we were 5 years old and have had the privilege to play for the last 10 years.  Introducing  kids at an early age to any sport grows enthusiasm, excitement and hopefully a lifelong love and passion for it.  Lacrosse is gaining momentum on the West Coast but isn't as prevalent as many other sports. As a result, there are fewer teams, most are year-round programs,  the experience can be expensive and results in not retaining a diverse range of kids.  We want to change that.

We  have teamed with Sling It Lacrosse with a goal of raising $5600 to purchase  50 helmets, enough for two teams at Oakland Lacrosse!  We want to present them with this gift at the end of August. But helmets are only a start.  They need matching uniforms, other gear and of course there are fees to play in tournaments .

In addition to these generous donations,  we will be offering lacrosse after-school clinics this fall for kids under 11 years old. We will donate 20% of our proceeds to Oakland Lacrosse.  For more information regarding these clinics, you can [email redacted]
