Oakland Art Murmur is the center of Oakland’s vital art scene! We’re THE ONLY local nonprofit that brings together Oakland’s creative community through events, programming, and opportunities for artists.

Some of our offerings include:

Art Walks - OAM’s signature art tours have introduced 100’s of arts enthusiasts to local art spaces, artists and their artwork.
Art Talks - We work to center artists' voices giving them a platform to share their stories, inspiration and the values they bring to their work.
Art Events - We create events that bring people together through the experience of art. We've connected 1000’s of arts enthusiasts to the art events and exhibitions at 30+ arts venues.
First Fridays - OAM’s signature FREE First Friday Art Murmur continues 18 years and going strong!
Resources for Artists - We round up weekly artist resources to connect artists to local paid opportunities.
