Brandon's Recovery

Hello! My name is Giannina. I have started this fundraiser for the love of my life, my fiance, Brandon Murzyn. Our lives were turned upside down in January of 2015 when Brandon was diagnosed with testicular cancer. We were absolutely devastated when we heard the news. Brandon had surgery five days later to remove the tumor. Two weeks later, we were told the cancer had spread to his kidneys and would continue to spread rapidly, leaving him with one option: chemotherapy. Brandon started chemotherapy five days later. With a 99% success rate, with an aggressive nine week chemotherapy regimen, we knew that we would come out of this stronger than ever! Despite being faced with the possibility that we may not be able to have children, we have continued to stay positive. Among hundreds of other side effects, countless doctors appointments, dozens of prescriptions, chemotherapy costs and Brandon being physically and medically unfit for work, he will continue to fight! Brandon is twenty-three years old, and frankly, we still can not fathom that this is happening to us. Brandon has a heart of gold and would give the shirt off of his back for anyone. He gives everyone the benefit of the doubt and sees the very best in people and in life.
