1 day...we are possibly loosing Chili Pepper to Anterior enteritis. There is no treatment for it, it is often fatal, I am doing everything the vet said to do and right now its kind of a limbo state. Please pray....2.nd day..Chili Pepper is on his way to the large animal hospital to be admitted ....It is what it is...3....He is now in a stall at the animal hospital...4....Chili Pepper is at Sunbury Animal Hospital, he is scheduled to stay four days BUT it is possible that he will be taking a trip to Cornell tomorrow, I hope it does not snow , sleet or freezing rain. Thank you everyone for your kind words and prayers, it means a lot to me to know that I am not alone. i forget there is a world out there because this is quite a time consuming affair that I have going on.....5..Just got a Pepper update, temp is slowly and steadily climbing...we are up to 101.6 now and is showing more signs of pain.... Shit....6.Chili update, he had a bit of a rollar coaster ride as far as temps are, he now has some gut sounds in three quadrants, urinated twice and is behaving the same way as yesterday, not better, not worse , surgery is off the table at Cornell because the estimate is $5 to 7 thousand...they still dont know what is wrong with him for sure.....7....Mid afternoon Chili update, heart beat is a bit lower, temp down to 97.9, faint sounds in all four quadrants of gi tract,.not showing signs of pain, still no poo, but he hasnt eaten since yesterday morning,...no toxidity showing, everything else the same. ...Thank you all for the kind words and prayers, It seems like a lot of us have a lot on our plates lately...Remember the good ole days when everything was easier,...just kidding,..this is life,...8...
Hi, my name is Jayne Seanard and I run a small business called Pony Party Paradise. I am 58 years old and run the farm myself. People help me with camp and parties but the day to day work is done by me.
Pony Party Paradise has been open for 25 years, I have three children that helped me when they were younger but have all grown up to lead productive lives in other areas.
I started off on this property with two bare acres and a house in 1982. I now have 25 acres, 2 barns, a childrens camp building, several small animal enclosures and a storage building. My children and I built half of it ourselves and I built the rest with a little bit of help from others. When I say we built it I mean pysically built it. My son alway jokes that my hobbie is putting up fences.It certainly looks that way.
We have been flooded in the pastures 4 times. When that happens its a very bad thing.

I am entrusted to the care of 18 horses and ponies, 2 llamas, 7 alpacas, 4 goats, 2 sheep, 2 rabbits, 7 peacocks, 20+ guiney hens, dozens of chickens and a dog.
My personal needs are small and second to the farm.
The problem is that because of the age of the facility, things are falling apart. The fencing from the last flood still has not been fully repaired. Fencing needs to be repaired and more is needed.
Trees have fallen and I need to have them removed.
Outside water hydrants need to be repaired because of the severe winters the past few years.
Barns need renovating because of age and critters eating them.
Ten years ago I would have done it myself,but I am getting older and it is difficult. I spend most of my time taking care of the animals. I do my own feet trimming (horses,ponies, llamas, alpacas,goats and sheep.) I do my own vaccinations. I do all the shearing myself also. I also have built all the enclosures that we use for events. I set up the events and tear them down myself. It takes all my time to care for the animals and earn the money to feed them. Animal food is $45.00 a day, that includes hay and grain.
I understand that a lot of animal facilities need help. I a just a little person on a big planet trying to do her part. My critters are healthy, strong, happy and lucky to be here. I am the real thing, but I need to hire some people to help me or the animals and I will be in big trouble soon. Things must be finished and safe before I get much older. Thats what frightens me and why I am asking for finantial help. These animals have nowhere to go if I cant continue.
Many of my ponies and horses are over 25 years old, 2 dont have teeth and must have pelleted feed. 3 of the goats are aged, Jacob the sheep is aged. 75% of the critters are rescues. I want them to live their lives out in peace and good health.
