Kathy (Highfield) Sponga

Kathy (Highfield) Sponga, age 64, of Brookhaven, PA, formerly of Aston, PA, died on Saturday, December 30, 2023 with her family by her side. Kathy graduated from Sun Valley High School.

She was the office manager with Town & Country Veterinary Hospital for more than 20 years. Kathy had a love for animals, caring for many pets over the years. Her most recent loves were her cat, Isla and her dog, Emma.

Kathy was an avid reader of Stephen King. She also was an Aerosmith fan, with an infatuation for Steven Tyler, and also loved the color Blue. Kathy also enjoyed her monthly trips with Lynda and JoAnna.

Kathy was a loving and devoted sister, aunt, godmother and friend.

Daughter of the late William and Huguette Brabant Highfield; Sister of the late Bill Highfield; Friend of the late Aurora Watkins.

Kathy cherished her important role in the upbringing of Ryan, Josh, Brendan, Taylor, Sydney and Emerson.

Visitation: Saturday, January 6th from 10:00-11:30AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Belyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Interment: Private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Kathy may be made to her memorial service.

Yoon Chay is the employer of Town & Country Veterinary Hospital. Lynda Strolli has delegated the handling of memorial service funds to Dr. Chay. All funds will be transferred to Lynda.
