Early morning on March 13, 2016 a house fire tragically took the life of our beloved father, husband, friend, teacher, and volunteer Dr. James 'Jim' Chambers. In addition to his family's loss, the Phi Tau brotherhood, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, and the Oxford community have lost a valued member. Julie and the boys have lost virtually everything: Jim, home, belongings, some pets.
As many of you know, Julie has been bravely fighting breast cancer for over a year now. The Chambers' family, Scouting family, and friends have provided them with love and support. More is needed after this devastating loss. Now that Jim is in heaven, Julie and the boys will truly need to be Chambers Brave as their Scouting years have taught them.
They need prayers more than anything! If you would like to help, a donation would assist with funeral, temporary living, cancer treatment, and rebuilding expenses. The family appreciates any and all gifts. Thank you!
