Hello, my name is Taylor. My husband is currently facing a series of serious health issues. He is currently in the ICU, lungs exhausted from doing the simple everyday breathing we all do. For Jarrett this isn't something that comes easy.

There is only one medication that keeps him stable: Fasendra, an injection given every two months. This medication costs $7,400 per dose, and there is no insurance or government coverage available. We have exhausted every avenue, appealed every denial, and fought every fight to get this life-saving treatment approved — but without success.

As we are currently without adequate health coverage, the accumulating expenses for ambulance services, medications, and other medical necessities are becoming overwhelming. I am reaching out in hopes of finding assistance to help cover the cost of travel and the Fasdenra injections and all other medications, which are essential to his survival. Without this treatment, his condition will continue to deteriorate, and we risk losing him.

The constant struggle to breathe is taking a devastating toll on his overall health, and any additional stress on his heart and lungs puts him at greater risk. We have already experienced the trauma of a coma, and I am desperate to avoid another such incident. I would be incredibly grateful if you could provide any support or guidance to help our family navigate this

Jarrett is only 30 years old, a devoted father, a loving son, and deeply cherished by everyone who knows him.

Without Fasenra, Jarrett’s health rapidly deteriorates. He ends up in the hospital struggling to breathe, sometimes going into cardiac arrest. His ability to work and support our family is severely impacted. I often have to miss work myself to take him to the hospital or care for our children.

We’re currently living in a mobile home that is difficult to heat during Canada’s cold winters. On top of the cost of medication, we’re drowning in ambulance bills from the times we’ve had to rush Jarrett to emergency care to save his life.

We are now at a breaking point. We are humbly and desperately asking for help to:

• Afford Jarrett’s life-saving medication on a regular basis

• Move into a safer, more stable home for our family

• Pay down the overwhelming debt from medical emergencies

Jarrett wants to live. He wants to breathe, to work, and to provide for his family. But without this medication, his future — and ours — is uncertain.
