On the afternoon of September 14th, 2023, heaven gained an angel after so many years of fighting ongoing medical issues. He was a heart transplant recipient for 8 years and never gave up even when times were tough.

For those who knew Agustin, Augie, Agu, Gute, Pops, G-PA, Papa Agustin, and all the nicknames he had, knew his love for family and friends were the most important thing in his life. He was one of 5 children to Herlinda and Agustin. He was the best Dad to Javi, Emelie, and Daisy. He was G-PA to his G-Babies, Julian and Jayleen. He was the best Step-Dad to Jacob, Breanna, Andrew and the heart to Wendi. He was best Papa Agustin to King, Journee, Poppy, and Dash. He was a father, son, brother, grandfather, uncle, step-dad, cousin, nephew, and friend to those who loved him very much. No matter what life threw at him, he fought like a champ. He always overcame his sicknesses and put a smile on everyone’s face with his humor. He would trash talk to you over anything especially sports, but that’s how you knew he liked you. He made the best bbqs on the block. He always welcomed you into his home like you were family and was the life of the party.

During this difficult time, I want to relieve any burden on his family and hope that the communities he loved can show up for him one last time. All funds for this GoFundMe will go directly to his children to help with funeral costs and future financial support for his two daughters.
