Getting a call so early in the morning and be startled awake can put anyone on edge. But when you wake up to a phone call from your family member that their home had caught fire is something that no family ever wants to wake up to. This morning, we had to get that call. Jesse was woken by a neighbor in the building banging on his door, and everyone else's, to let everyone know that the apartment complex had caught fire. Thankfully, Jesse had just enough time to get his pet cat and himself out of the building, but lost everything in the process. There is so much water damage and being on the top floor, the entire roof is gone. Madison and I are looking to raise money to help him replace what he has lost.
