Nzengeli Mfwamba Memorial Fund

On the night of Tuesday, April 6th, Nzengeli Mfwamba was found unresponsive outside his home, in Champaign, Illinois, after being stabbed multiple times by another man. He later died of his injuries at a local hospital.

 

He was 49 years old.

 

Nzengeli Mfwamba was a husband, a father of four (2 adults children and 2 young children), a grandfather of four, a son, a brother, an uncle and a friend. 

Nzengeli was a Congolese immigrant who was living his American dream. He worked for 19 years at Flex-N-Gate as an operator.

 

So many friends and people have offered to help and contribute to Nzengeli Mfwamba's memorial fund. Therefore, the family has set up this gofundme account. The fund raised will go toward the following:
1. Pay for any final expenses
2. Provide for a trust for his young sons Adonai 8 and Aaron 6
3. Help his elderly sick father in Congo - Kinshasa who depended on his son Nzengeli's financial support
