I have been diagnosed with malignant
squamous cell carcinoma of my neck, throat and tongue.
I have already had 2 operations, one to remove a right lymph node in Modesto, CA, the other at UCSF in San Francisco where they removed small parts of left over tissue from tonsillectomy at the age of five, removed part of my tongue and Surgeon also removed a cancerous growth deep in my throat.
This last surgery happened May 8 and today I was called up by the surgeon Dr. Ha regarding my next stage of my cancer removal process.
Dr. Ha stated no more surgery because it would be too invasive and I could lose my voice box. However I would receive RADIATION THERAPY 5 days a week for 30 days. I will be living in San Francisco during these treatments, which I cannot afford and it is much too tiring and exhausting and too expensive to drive back and forth.
Long term healing process could take upwards of 6 months to a year with many postop trips back and forth to UCSF.
During this process I would have to rely on my brothers and sisters in CHRIST for their physcal and spiritual transportation and support of needs.
Financially I am living on a small income (SSI) and can barely make ends meet, as it is.
I would be truly thankful and appreciative for any contributions that would be Applied to this fund.
Ultimately this fund would not be only ABOUT MYSELF, but it would be about GLORYING JESUS CHRIST as HE is my LORD AND SAVIOR, and in HIM will I TRUST.
I am so very thankful for your friendship and I am truly BLESSED to have you all in my life.
BLESSINGS TO ALL,
YOUR FRIEND IN CHRIST
