Support Randy in His Fight Against Glioblastoma

Dear friends, family, prayer warriors, & community members,

To know Randy is to love Randy - he’s certainly one of a kind! My brother is full of zeal with an undeniable zest for life & would do absolutely anything for anyone. But right now HE NEEDS OUR HELP. Since he was diagnosed with glioblastoma (GBM) in December, we have been rallying beside him & behind him in his fight. For those of you unfamiliar with GBM, it is the most aggressive form of brain cancer. There is no cure & there are few effective treatment options available.

After extensive research & consultations with more than a half dozen of the nation’s most renowned medical experts, we have decided to move forward in pursuing Randy’s most promising treatment option. He was recently approved to receive a series of personalized tumor vaccines called CeGaT in Tübingen, Germany. It is designed to harness the immune system to recognize and attack Randy’s specific cancer cells, offering a targeted approach utilizing 20 personalized peptides extracted directly from Randy’s tumor tissue DNA. The US equivalent of this vaccine only uses 1 peptide and it is not personalized to the tumor itself.

*Studies show CeGAT can increase life expectancy by more than 50% which is far superior to standard therapies. This cutting-edge treatment is not yet approved in the US.

While this treatment brings us hope, it also comes with significant financial challenges. This treatment is NOT covered by insurance & will cost $120,000 collectively for vaccine production, administration, monitoring, & travel expenses. Randy will need to travel to Germany on 11 separate occasions for treatment.
