Shana's recovery from paralysis

Our dear friend Shana has had an accident and desperately needs your help to push through this horrific situation.

Monday, April 2nd Shana attended an acrobatic fitness class. She landed wrong in one of the exercises being taught and fractured her neck badly, shattering bones. Consequently, surgery was required to fuse the vertebrate back together. This fracture had caused serious nerve damage leaving her paralyzed from the neck down.

Shana is currently in ICU at Bellevue hospital in NY. She is breathing on her own and doctors are hoping to move her to the rehab unit in a weeks time. However, they are uncertain if she will ever walk again.

Shana is looking at a very lengthy, extremely difficult and expensive road to any sort of recovery. She really needs help and support to get through this. The funds you donate to help Shana will go towards her medical and living expenses.
