Houston Recovery

hi!

 

houston, my angel kitten of about 8 months got out of our house through an open door and was badly injured on the morning of 6/30 (we think a car likely hit him). as of the morning of 7/1, he's at the vet getting care, and we are so, so grateful he seems like he will be okay. currently, his right eye is swollen shut, he has lots of trauma mainly concentrated on his face, and a potential concussion, but hoping for the best.

 

unfortunately, the vet bill just for a short hospital stay (fluids, antibiotics, IV) and imaging (x rays, cat scan to evaluate a potential concussion) are almost 7k, not taking into account any procedures needed - fingers crossed none are.

 

i don't normally do things like this, but i'm reaching out to my community to ask for your support. this bill is something i was not prepared for, and absolutely anything you can give helps. finding houston after being lost for about 48 hours was a miracle and i'm hoping for a similar miracle with the support of my community to get him the care he needs. thank you so much, sending so much love to all.
