Shaving my head for a cause that I believe in

I want to raise money to support a very special charity, called Kamili. Kamili was set up in 2009 and is now one of the main providers of free mental health care across Kenya, with 36 trained nurses in 25 out of 47 counties. Kamili’s goal is to have a Community Mental Health Clinic in every county in Kenya. I plan to shave my head to help; here you can see a picture of me with my hair. I’m going to shave it on my 14th birthday in 2 weeks time.

I have attached a video in which the founder, Melanie, talks about Kamili in depth. This charity means a lot to me because I used to live in Kenya and I have seen the struggles people face first hand. Also, Melanie was our neighbour and I know how much work she puts in to raising awareness about the symptoms and stigma associated with mental health. I promise that your money will be very well spent.
