Hope and Healing For Nicole

Hello, my name is Justin, and I am raising funds for my mom, Nicole Constant. For over 20 years, my mom has bravely battled Severe Crohn's Disease and Short Gut Syndrome. She has endured numerous surgeries, including resection of her small intestine, removal of her large intestine, an ileostomy, and a colostomy. Despite these challenges, she felt well enough to seek blessings in Rome, Italy, with her doctors' approval.

Upon arriving in Italy, my mom began visiting St. Peter's Basilica and other significant religious sites. However, by the fourth day, she found herself needing extra rest. Over the next three days, her condition worsened; she couldn't get out of bed or eat. Desperate for help, she sought guidance from the hotel concierge, who directed her to Salvator Mundi International Hospital in Rome.

At the hospital, doctors quickly diagnosed her with severe kidney failure, rhabdomyolysis, and a bowel obstruction—three life-threatening conditions that required immediate attention. The medical team acted swiftly, treating her rhabdomyolysis and stabilizing her kidneys within a week. On May 7th, my mom underwent a complex, five-hour small intestine resection surgery. Despite numerous complications, the surgery was successful, thanks to the skilled Italian surgeons who saved her life.

Now, my mom is in the recovery phase, and we are hopeful she will soon be back on her feet. While she has received her blessings, the medical bills from her month-long hospitalization have become a significant financial burden.

I have created this GoFundMe campaign to alleviate some of the financial stress on my mom and to bring her back to the U.S. as a healthier woman, blessed by grace. Our goal is to raise $100,000 to cover her medical expenses and support her continued recovery.
