Many of you know Coco and how he is such a happy and loving boy and we know our life wouldn't be the same without him. He truly is our best friend, we love him so much.
A month ago we noticed Coco was having difficulty walking, and shortly after that started limping. After physical exams and x-rays, we received confirmation that he had completely ruptured his left leg ligament. He was putting all his weight (100 lbs) on the right leg and he is about to rupture the other ligament. On top of that, he also has hips issues. His hips are both damaged and all of that is affecting his mobility.
The diagnosis is that he needs ligaments and hips surgery. These procedures, as we were told, were going to give him the ability to walk, run and play again! But unfortunately this surgery is a major one, both anatomically speaking and monetary speaking. It was a tough number to swallow when the veterinarian told us it would cost around $10.000 to fix everything.
It is truly humbling to us to have to reach out to friends and family for monetary assistance but we are hoping and praying Coco has touched your lives as much as he has touched ours. All we want to do is give him back the best life he deserves.
Anything you can give to help us pay the cost of his surgery will be helpful, we would forever be grateful and appreciative. And if you ever get the chance to visit Coco (for the first time or again) he would surely pay it back ten-fold with his love and affection.
