As the Adirondack community mourns the death of beloved forest ranger Robbi Mecus in a climbing accident in Alaska, friends of Robbi's family are seeking support for her daughter and former wife.

UPDATE: As Robbi's story has reached beyond our small mountain community, it is clear how much she has meant to so many people, whether through her heroism as a forest ranger, leadership and advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights and visibility, or abilities as a climber. The outpouring of support is truly moving and appreciated.
