Fight to Beat Cancer
Donation protected
Hello Everyone! To my friends and to my family, thank you for taking the time to read this. Over the Christmas holiday I was diagnosed with testicular cancer. For the last six months I have been battling cancer and the effects of the treatment and medications. I never thought that I would need to ask others for help, however, cancer has proved to be a tremendous feat. Each day I struggle personally with the medicine and treatment and with my business and family and keeping them afloat.
After the initial operation the cancer specialist at cooper began scanning my body for more signs of cancer. Unfortunately, after a lung surgery, the doctors found testicular cancer in my lungs too. Because of this I am currently being treated for Stage 3 testicular cancer. The treatment for this is 4 weeks of chemotherapy with 2 weeks off between each treatment. As some of you already know I have been struggling to continue servicing my loyal customers through this last decade of computer service. With their patience and some tough days I have been able to do my best in keeping with up with them. In addition I have been battling caring for my family and being there for them as much as possible.
The good news is that I have completed two weeks of chemotherapy as of 6/9/19. The treatment requires me to go each day to Cooper Medical and hook to an IV for between 4-5 hours to receive the chemotherapy. The chemotherapy is designed to kill cells. Of course it is designed to kill the cancer cells, but it doesn't discriminate in your body between the two. After a week of treatment the doctor gives me a patch to inject me with medicine to boost my immune system. After a week of chemotherapy your immune system breaks down and the patch helps ensure that I don't get an infection.
The last few weeks have been challenging. I have lost my hair and faced other tribulations that are brought about by the medicine. I am fighting STRONG. I WILL BEAT THIS CANCER!!! Like I've said before, I'm not the type of person to ask others for much help. I often try to help others before myself. If there is anything you can do to help my family and I appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts.
God Bless and keep me in your prayers!!!
