Help Trinity, Our Mom’s Best Friend
Donation protected
Hi, our names are Joyce and Earl Gibson and we are trying to raise enough money to repair Trinity’s leg. Trinity is our mom’s dog, a nine year old German Shepard/Beagle mix, or probably better said, our mom’s best friend. Trinity has been by our mom’s side since shortly after our dad died about 9 years ago. Besides being her constant companion, our mom wouldn’t have been able to maintain her independence, as she has, without the presence of Trinity.
Now Trinity needs our help! Recently, she began to have some serious problems with one of her hind legs; often hobbling around on three legs and whimpering in pain. She had some minor episodes over the years but had always been able to bounce back with rest and medication. This time she didn’t bounce back. The vets diagnosis, the Cranial Cruciate Ligament (CCL) was completely torn. The solution a Tibial-plateau-leveling osteotomy (TPLO). The surgery is expected to cost about $4,500.00 with another $1,500.00 for post-operative therapy and care.
With this surgery Trinity can be back to chasing squirrels in the back yard and being the happy dog she was. Maybe more importantly though, Trinity can continue to be there for our mom. Her companion, her security, her best friend!
Thank you for taking the time to read our story. If you are able, we would greatly appreciate any contributions. Thank you.
