I am wringing out the last scrap of pride I had to write this. Please, I am begging you, read it.

I am in dire need of 1500$ to pay for surgery for my ESA, my fuzzy soul mate, my best girl, my dog Nymmie. If you've ever met me, you know how much I love this dog, and that I would do anything for her. She has been there for me for over a decade, providing comfort when I'm overwhelmed, an anchor when I'm suicidal, and a source of joy to anyone fortunate enough to know her. She's smart and brave and amazing, the best road trip buddy anyone could ask for, and she's in pain.

It's honestly pretty standard stuff. She's a senior dog and so dental surgery is nigh inevitable. She needs 4 back teeth removed which will require sedation and surgery.

The vet gave us some antibiotics and pain killers for her which helped for a while, but the pain is flaring up again, and I am taking breaks from writing this to sob into her fur because the idea that she is in pain and there's nothing I can do to fix her because I'm so bad at capitalism is enough to make me desperate enough to tell the whole internet that I can't afford to take care of what's most important to me in the world.

I am homeless, living off food stamps and food pantries and begging my friends for gas money, and the idea of having 1500$ at any point in the near future is unfathomable to me. My chronic illness has gotten to the point where I cannot work at all anymore, and I am in the process of trying to figure out how to rework my whole life to fit with my new reality.

I don't care about me right now, I just want my beloved Nym to be okay, and pain free.
