NYLF Pathways to STEM 2017 at UF

I, Sophia Pfister, have been nominated by my 2015-2016 3rd grade teacher Ms. Erickson to go to the 2017 NYLF Pathways to STEM summer camp at UF, Gainesville. This is an amazing honor and offers a lot of opportunity for my future. I initiated a campaign to protect the environment by working with Chartwells (school lunch provider for Duval County) to have recyclable lunch trays in our cafeterias. I am currently secretary of my amazing school, Jacksonville Beach Elementary, and a straight A student. It would truly be a blessing to go to this camp where I have the chance to study medicine, develop crime-solving skills and much more! The availability for turning in the money goes until June. Our goal is about $2,000.  Thank you so much for donating, it is deeply appreciated!!
