Jacob is a junior at HL Bourgeois High school. He has been selected to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum in Medicine next summer, 2019. The forum is a 9 day camp at St John’s University in New York.
By attending NYLF, he will join other motivated students from around the country for an experiential program. He will have the opportunity to interact with respected professionals in various fields while building relationships with students who will be his future colleagues.
Attending this program will enable Jacob to further his interest in the field of medicine and reach his career goal of becoming a Cardiothoracic Surgeon. Jacob currently maintains a 3.9 GPA and is involved in band as a Drumline Core Leader with the Marching Sensation of the Brave Reservation at HL Bourgeois. Jacob also serves as Junior Class Vice President.
Jacob’s participation in the program depends on whether he can raise the funds needed for the tuition ($3495), travel and funds for incidentals.
Your support of any amount would be greatly appreciated! You may find information about the program at NYLFmed.com.
Thank you again, Stacey
