It is with profound sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of the sudden loss of Nyla Woods. Nyla was a CFI 70 (and formerly CFI 27) student and the beloved daughter of one of our CFI 27 staff members.

Her mother, Ms. Amanda Woods, teaches kindergarten at Center for Inquiry School 27 (CFI 27). Our entire school community mourns this devastating loss and extends our deepest sympathies to Ms. Woods and her family. Ms. Woods also lost her mother, Nancy (Nan) Woods, in the same tragedy.

The CFI 27 PTSA has created this fundraiser on behalf of Ms. Woods and the school to provide meaningful support to her and her family during this incredibly difficult time. Ms. Woods has endured unimaginable loss, and we hope to ease her burden by helping cover funeral expenses, time away from work to heal, and other immediate needs for her family.
