In Loving Memory of Nyla May Bradshaw

We are coming together to support the family of beautiful Nyla May Bradshaw, who tragically passed away at just 7 years old.

Nyla tragically lost her life after drowning in a pond on a golf course in Doncaster while in the care of a childminder. It was her first day. The circumstances surrounding her passing have left her family not only heartbroken, but also facing many unanswered questions.

They are now living through every parent’s worst nightmare—grieving the loss of their precious little girl while also carrying the overwhelming responsibility of arranging her funeral. No family should ever have to endure such pain, especially alongside so much uncertainty.

Nyla was a deeply loved little girl—autistic and non-verbal—but her voice was felt in so many other ways. Through her smile, her presence, and the love she gave so freely, she brought light and warmth to everyone around her. She was her family’s whole world.

Her sudden and devastating loss has left her family in unimaginable shock and grief. No parent should ever have to endure the pain of losing a child, especially in such heartbreaking circumstances.

As they try to process this loss, Nyla’s parents are having to take time away from work to grieve and support one another through the darkest of days. At the same time, her siblings are trying to understand the loss of their sister and will need ongoing love, care, and emotional support—including counselling to help them navigate such a profound heartbreak.

Alongside this, the family are facing the overwhelming financial burden of arranging a funeral for their little girl—something no family should ever have to prepare for.
