By the Will of Allah (SWT), your generosity has already made a real impact. This fundraiser was created to support Malak Salah and her family in Gaza, who reached out to us directly for help during extremely difficult conditions. We personally connected with Malak and her family through video calls and learned about their living situation firsthand.
Alhamdulillah, the first $5,000 raised has already gone toward urgent and essential needs for Malak’s family. We want to sincerely thank everyone who donated, shared, and made this possible.
Below is a message directly from Malak:
“I just wanted to reassure you that the money you sent was used for essential and important needs.
- I bought medication for my mother because she is sick. She has a spinal disc problem in her back and tendon issues in her hand and urgently needed treatment.
- I bought medication for my sister because she is ill and facing complications from a medical mistake during childbirth and she is still receiving treatment.
- We bought milk and diapers for my niece who is less than two months old. She is suffering from malnutrition and incomplete brain development, so her needs are ongoing.
- We also bought essential food and drinks for the house, as well as blankets, winter clothes, and a water barrel.
May Allah reward you and place it in the scale of your good deeds. We truly appreciate your help.”
We will also be sharing screenshots of Malak expressing her gratitude so donors can see firsthand the impact their support is making.
Why We Are Continuing This Fundraiser
This is now a second round of support, as ongoing help is still urgently needed. Malak is caring for a household that includes women, children, and a newborn infant, and daily life remains extremely difficult. Food prices are very high, and basic essentials — especially for women and newborn babies — are difficult to access and expensive.
This round will help cover:
- Ongoing medical care and medication
- Food and clean drinking water
- Milk, diapers, and newborn essentials
- Women’s basic necessities
- Blankets, clothing, and household needs
- Emergency living expenses
How Funds Are Delivered
Funds are transferred directly to Malak and her family through secure transfer methods available to residents in Gaza, prioritizing the safest and fastest options possible. We will continue sharing updates as we are able.
