Nyima Tashi Buddhist Centre Temple Project is 90% completed. We only need a final $30,000 NZD to complete the renovations so we can move in to the new property and continue the wonderful Dharma activities led by resident teacher Ani Jangchub Lhamo.

I have included more information about Nyima Tashi Centre and the newly bought property here, and you may like to visit the website for more information about our Centre: https://www.nyima-tashi.org.nz

I am Meaghan Duffy, a Trustee of Nyima Tashi Buddhist Centre, and I ask for your help to get the renovations finished. My efforts to fundraise are endorsed by Ani Jangchub Lhamo, who is leading the Temple Project and Traleg Khandro, the late Traleg Kyabgon RINPOCHE IX’s wife.

Nyima Tashi Buddhist Centre was founded by Traleg Kyabgon RINPOCHE IX in 2008. After his passing in 2012 Ani Jangchub Lhamo has continued the wonderful work that He began. The temple project was part of Rinpoche’s vision and Ani Jangchub has worked tirelessly to bring this vision into reality.

For more information about the Temple Project in particular, please visit this page in our website https://www.nyima-tashi.org.nz/post/building-the-temple-project-one-brick-at-a-time

Through the generosity of many, we have been able to purchase this property and begin the necessary renovations to enable us to immediately open the new Nyima Tashi Centre to weekly Dharma classes, solo retreatants, guests and hireage (an essential income stream for the centre). The main internal framing is done, the electrics and plumbing are mostly complete. We now need funds to finalise the last stages which include plastering, painting and finishing the floors.

If you can donate today, please do, as we are now aiming for a swift completion. Please join us in bringing Traleg Kyabgon Rinpoche IX’s vision to fruition.
