Please help my son get intensive therapy + a MRI

My son has mental health issues and has been abused abroad by hospital staff.
The insurance company he took a policy with will not help him in any way because the incident didn't happen in the airport or on the aeroplane.
We feel that because this case involves mental health it is overlooked and not taken seriously.

My son went on holiday to Tenerife with his girlfriend, whilst away they got engaged.
On what was meant to be their flight home, TUI messed up the special assistance. They were supposed to board my son first (my son is autistic, has anxiety and is epileptic) instead after sending them from gate to gate to gate they tried to board him last. This caused my son to go into an anxiety attack and couldn't board the plane.

After a lot of messing around, lies, and phone-calls not returned by Good to Go insurance (part of TIF group - his travel insurance company), they sent my son to a hospital which was supposedly 5 minute drive. It was actually over an hours drive causing my son to have another anxiety attack.
The taxi driver pulled over and a passer by rang an ambulance. The ambulance took him to a pharmacy where the ambulance crew forced medication in to his mouth, then put him in the ambulance. He was then blue lighted to hospital as he had a seizure.

Whilst at the hospital they sedated him, then at 2am they came in to the room, woke him up and tried to restrain him to the bed. His girlfriend said "no get out". My son was scared at this point so his girlfriend got in the bed to calm him down, both being exhausted they fell asleep.

At 7am, 3 security guards and 2 nurses came in to the room, dragged his girlfriend out of the bed and were pushing her out of the hospital room. No one at the hospital spoke English and the insurance company wouldn't provide a translator. My son does not talk in hospitals so his girlfriend communicates for him.

As they were pushing his girlfriend out of the hospital room, my son got out of bed to go with her. The 3 security guards stepped forward, my sons girlfriend said "don't touch him", with that they slammed him head first forcefully into the floor and wall, put him in a choke hold until he passed out and then restrained him to a bed (his girlfriend was watching through a window).
He then had another seizure whilst restrained. Every time he had an anxiety attack, 2 male nurses pushed their fist hard in to his sternum causing the anxiety attack to get worse. They also kept sedating him. Whilst he was restrained, they put him in a choke hold again until he passed out. He had a further 8 seizures, so 10 in 1 day.

The insurance company were doing nothing to help, I even rang the consulate but the hospital would not cooperate with them until a doctor was in at 11am.

This has destroyed my son who was living independently for 9 years but has now had to move back home (with me). He is now like a person with severe autism and is extremely traumatised, he is absolutely terrified of everything and has not spoken a word to anyone in 2 weeks now.

He will never be able to work. We are currently waiting for an MRI on the NHS to see if he has suffered any brain damage through all the seizures, the fact that they smashed his head in to the ground and the fact that they cut his oxygen supply off twice. He is still having seizures when he has only ever had 6 or 7 in his life. He has had roughly 22 in total in a month since the incident.

The reason for this Go Fund Me is the insurance will not pay a Spanish solicitor the £25,000 which is in his policy in legal fees. The company they use cannot take it on because it didn't happen in an airport or on an aeroplane.

No other UK firm will take this on because of Brexit and not knowing if there will be a deal or not so they wouldn't be able to enforce the compensation and have all advised I need to use a Spanish lawyer. I got a list of lawyers from the consulate and have one who will take on the case and he has said we have a very good case. However, he needs his fees paying as they don't do no-win no-fee in Spain.

I want to get justice for my son. I also want to make sure that the hospital does not repeat what they've done to my son. They could have easily killed him.

Without suing the Spanish hospital, their treatment will not change and the offending people will continue to do what they are doing. We need to stop them.

Thank you in advance to anyone willing to help. Any extra money raised will be used to get my son therapy and a private MRI so we can see how much damage they have done. This has to be done under sedation as he is so traumatised.

Once again thank you so much.
