NEW YORK DRAGONS BASKETBALL TEAM

Once again the New York Dragons teams are getting ready for what is sure to be an exciting season. After a very successful 2015-2016 season the team has gained invaluable experience. Our team finished strong with a record of 62-5!

2016-2017 is guaranteed to be an exciting season as we continue building a tradition of excellence - encouraging both academic leadership and athletic! Our program primarily deals with inner city youth that are less fortunate. We have a history of helping young athletes matriculate into private day and boarding schools all over the country. Elite Academy is built on showcasing the student athlete talents off and on the court.

Our 2015-2016 season has evidenced the fortitude, diligence, and effort put forth by these young men to continue to progress toward their dreams. They are the New York State District 9th grade Division 1 AAU Basketball Champions. Garnering them the number one seed at the AAU National Championship in Nashville, TN and finishing #13 in the country. Our 8th grade is currently ranked #8 in the country nationally Please help us with our upcoming season by making a donation. 

The 2016-2017 season we hope to provide these young scholar athletes the opportunity to showcase their talent in Wisconsin, Indiana, Oklahoma, Pennslyvania, Virginia, California, and Las Vegas. Each showcase would allow them to be exposed to college recruiters to further provide them with student-athlete opportunities.  

 The accomplishments we have made as student athletes, coaches, and an organization take hard work, effort and resources. The large majority of our program's funding continues to be generated from the student athletes, their parents, and the support and generosity in the community.

As our players work hard this season on the court and in the classroom, we respectfully request your financial assistance as we continue our efforts in providing our student athletes the most rewarding experience possible. Additionally, the contributions we receive will also allow us to cover the costs of new uniforms and other items including travel costs and equipment. Most importantly, your generous donation will provide our players and coaches with the support needed to develop strong, disciplined young athletes of character and integrity.
