NYCBS Adopt A Family 2022

In honor of Geri Shumway, who was a Chemo Scheduler in our Setauket office for many years, the employees of New York Cancer & Blood Specialists are continuing her selfless tradition of "Adopting a Family" during the holiday season. We aim to raise funds to cover the expenses of 8 families, with a goal of $500 per family. Our plan is to have every employee donate $10.00 to ensure we meet this goal. The funds will be used to provide a holiday meal and gifts for the loved ones of cancer patients in need, who are receiving care at our facility. We will work with the patient's care team to ensure that the funds are distributed to the patients and families in need. The funds will be transferred through GoFundMe and will be distributed to the intended recipient(s) as soon as possible.
