NYC for EFTC

On the very first day of 2017, I began what would be one of the most incredible and rewarding years of my life.  I spent the year teaching first and second grade English in Jocotenango, Guatemala with Education for the Children. I truly do not have enough wonderful things to say about my time with the foundation, as well as their staff, entire community and their cause.  Through education, EFTC is fighting to end the cycle of poverty.  EFTC is simply changing the lives of the nearly 600 students and families that they serve.

This March, Education for the Children will be celebrating their 1st World EFTC Day. While I may not still be in Guatemala to take part in this wonderful celebration, I knew I had to find a way to do whatever I could to support the foundation from NY.

On March 10th, 2018, from 6pm-9pm at Raise NYC,  I will be holding the first annual "NYC for EFTC" fundraising night.  Please come join us for a great night filled with delicious food and drinks, while also knowing that you're directly contributing to bettering the lives and education of the children of Guatemala.

I truly hope that you and your loved ones with be able to come and enjoy the night.  However, if you are unable to attend the event, please know that monetary AND school supply donations are also GREATLY appreciated.

If you're interested in joining for a fun night, please kindly make a donation of at least $60 per person. This donation includes a 3 hour open bar. 10% of all food purchased will go back to EFTC. So come hungry! :)

Also, please spread the word!! All are welcome :)
