NYC NURSES & DOCTORS NEED YOUR HELP!

The team of pediatric nurses and doctors at The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (located in Bronx, NY) NEED YOUR HELP! We are in desperate need of PPE and other supplies for all of our staff in order to adequately care for our COVID patients, which now includes adults. We want to protect all of our patients, children and adults, from the potential spread of COVID-19. We also want to protect our families and ourselves so that we may continue to serve our community the best we can. Specifically, we are in need of coveralls, masks, hair covers, antibacterial/antiviral wipes. We currently don’t have any coveralls, and we have been reusing masks. Some days we have hair covers, most days we don’t and we have been cutting up our wipes into 4 pieces and distributing them in Ziploc bags to make them last longer because we simply don’t have enough. The staff at CHAM have a saying, we call ourselves and our patients “CHAMily” because we are all in this together, like a family.
