As of August 19, 2025, I was terminated from my job without just causes after a false “investigation” was completed without my participation. The following day, I immediately began searching for a new job as I had an agreement with my apartment’s management to finish paying my remaining balance of $287 by August 29, 2025. I have failed to meet that requirement due to my termination and so, my remaining balance rolled over into the month of September and this raised the balance to $1,372.50, so almost $1,400. Fortunately thanks to family and friends I was able to raise over $1,300+ to pay that off, however, I am still looking for a job right now as of writing this on September 19, 2025. Exactly one month since my termination. There was an eviction still filed on me for which got dismissed in court as of yesterday, but I was stuck with the attorney fees so NOW I have an additional $213 balance because of the filing rather than $0. I am already struggling to afford taking care of myself & my 3 pets (2 cats & 1 dog) without the stability of the income I once earned. I desperately need help.

I have held out on starting a GoFundMe sooner in hopes that my appeal would be reviewed and I could get my job back. That never happened, so I continue to apply to other jobs and opportunities. I filed for unemployment via TN.gov’s website & standards. I have also applied to local aid programs like CSA, MIFA, and more- all of which I was denied approval, or either turned away because they no longer had funds until November. My goal is to raise at minimum $275 to a maximum of $1,500 by Oct. 5th to keep my home for another month using the money donated for my rent, utilities, and pets until I am back to work. It’s either doing that OR finding somewhere else to stay altogether.

If you are so kind to help me, I want to be transparent in saying that I DO have the option to sign another Promise To Pay agreement with my apartment’s management. To get that extension, I must pay at least a minimum of 25% worth of my rent between now and October 5th, 2025. This would cost at minimum $250 - $275, any later than that and I will once again be charged an extra fee on my rent. That’s why my goal’s maximum is $1,500 *just in case* I’m still late on paying. I pray that with people’s help, I can at least meet that requirement and I feel secure while still job hunting. ANY and all donations or job offers will be GREATLY appreciated, and I thank every last person who took the time to at least read and sympathize with my situation. I worked SO hard to pull myself out of homeless these last few years, I would HATE to go back to that all because I did not ask for help. So to anyone who does donate, I DEEPLY thank you all!!❤️❤️❤️
