Not Your Average Basketball Camp (NYABC) was founded to create a space for people with special needs and their families to experience the joys of basketball in a fun and safe environment. Aside from learning skills such as dribbling and passing, players also learn about teamwork, perserverence, and having fun through basketball.
From our first camp in 2014, NYABC has steadily grown with camps held in the San Fernando Valley, Pasadena, and Orange County. We have been fortunate enough to work with about 25 families so far but look forward to creating this experience for many more!
We would love your help in funding this amazing program!
Your donations will go towards:
1. Establishing our non profit designation. This is our #1 goal before 2018.
2. Helping to pay for other costs to run our camps such as, gym fees, equipment, insurance, our legal fees, snacks, as well as NYABC t-shirts for our players and participants.
All of the donations that we collect will go right back into the program, directly benefiting the players, their families and our volunteers! Thank you so much for your help!
