Nya Jona Hodoh

February 14, 2000 - June 15, 2018 - 18yrs

After a lengthy battle with extensive blood clots, on June 5, Nya had to undergo open heart surgery to remove a mass clot that did not dissolve as did the others. The surgery went well, and two masses were removed. Nya appeared to be doing well, and was quickly released from the hospital. However, on the morning of June 15, 2018, she was found unresponsive. Attempts of CPR were unsuccessful, and Nya Hodoh passed away.

Nya just graduated on May 22nd, 2018 from Chelsea High School in Alabama. She was set to go to Tuskegee University in the fall, on a academic scholarship. 
Since this was unexpected, there was no life policy in place. The family is humbly requesting your assistance in making funeral arrangements. Nya’s stepfather, Anthony Coles, is to receive the funds to pay the funeral expenses.
