A Van For Angel
Angel fought for our freedom in the Vietnam war and has been living in his van in Seabrook, Texas for almost 2 years. This past winter our great community was able to get him under a roof for 4 months! Now he’s dealing with this oppressive heat! Can you even imagine? I’ve talked to him about getting him inside and he’s sure that people are tired of him, and no one would want to contribute. He seems more focused on being able to look for some odd jobs. But, as you can imagine, he’s got some legal issues with the van. No insurance and no registration sticker/inspection. To complicate matters further, we (the community) are constantly pouring money into repairs for the van.
Call me crazy but I would like to bless him with a better van (or small RV). Not a brand new one, but something more dependable. I’ve decided to start a GoFundMe for a new-to-him van (or small RV). I hope that you will consider your rich blessings and open your heart to helping this man who fought for our freedom. Whether you donate $5 or $500, every little bit helps!! Thank you!
